This is a small snippet of some creative writing I have done.
This story was one of my first long form writing projects. My goal was simply to tell a story and expand on my skills as a writer. I got a lot of practice conveying a story from the perspective of a single character, as well as writing more action-oriented scenes. This story is one of my earlier works, but I feel it still stands as an example of my skills as a writer. I also recently have gone back and started re-writing sections to improve on my work and to help learn from past mistakes. By analyzing my own writing, I’ve gotten to see some of my weaknesses and how I can improve on them.
